Bowmore 1997 Tasting Notes

Nose: Floral and fruity, with ripe mangoes, pomelo peels and lemons. Very oily, tar and engine oils, slightly medicinal, with seawater, white pepper and wood smoke.

Palate: Lemon rind, passion fruits, green mangoes, roasted pineapples, smoked kelp, peat, brine, diesel, engine oil, and a touch of sourdough.

Finish: Hugely waxy, sweet smoked meats, and tropical fruits.
