About Uncharted's Private Cask Inchmurrin

A stunning private cask filled 24 years ago and bottled by Uncharted Whisky. This beautiful, un-peated spirit was distilled in 1997 and filled into one ex-bourbon barrel where it spent its entire maturation. The resulting single malt is complex and elegantly balanced with complex notes of honey, oak, vanilla and tropical dried fruits.

Loch Lomond Distillery has historically produced many different styles of single malt. From grain whiskies to un-peated single malt, lightly peated single malt and heavily peated single malt. It’s something of a Willy Wonka’s whisky factory. The different spirits have historically been named after the islands of Loch Lomond. This one is called Inchmurrin and is one of the lightest, most fragrant spirits and is completely un-peated.
