Colour: Crisp dry hay.

Nose: Classic bourbon with the tinniest promise of the smoke to come.

Palate: Wow! The ex Islay cask crashes into the bourbon matured dram but delivers more of a campfire smoke than the phenol peat synonymous with Islay.

Finish: Sweet and smokey like a marshmallow toasted over an open fire mingling with delicate white pepper.
