Glen Elgin 8 Year Old Tasting Notes

Colour: Natural colour, sun ripened wheat fields.

Nose: Very spiritous with a hint of lemongrass easing out into indefinable spice that might be cardamom but could also be white pepper with just a hint of coffee.

Palate: Vanilla, ripe yellow pear and chilli flakes with gentian root and butter. Wonderfully bitter, but also rather effervescent.

Finish: Soft buttery popcorn with sherbert. For a sweeter and warmer finish just add two drops of water.
