About this Lady of The Glen whisky

North British Distillery was founded in 1885 in Edinburgh. This distillate has a heavier character compared to other grain distilleries due to the use of maize. Fully matured in an ex-bourbon barrel for notes of vanilla and spice.

North British is Lady Of The Glen's local grain distillery, located just over the water in Edinburgh. This particular cask was a very well used refill barrel that was also leaking throughout its life has led to a very soft and gentle but mature single grain whisky at a very approachable ABV.
