Rich Core Edition Tasting Notes

Nose: Dark raisins, black cherries, juicy sultanas, deep orange peel and toasted cocoa nibs.

Palate: Blackberries, figs, soaked currants and dried dates. Dark chocolate orange and hints of nutmeg and cinnamon spice.

Finish: Long and rich with dark fruit and a touch of spice.

About this JG Thomson whisky

JG Thomson Rich Blended malt is a real sherry bomb. The cask make up is the key, which includes Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks from Jerez. The casks were coopered from American white oak, as well as Spanish oak from the forests of Galicia. By using a mixture of butts, hogsheads and quarter casks, JG Thomson have maximised flavour.
