Colour: Rich amber.

Nose: Peat smoke, phenols, and spice.

Palate: warm spice, rich dark fruits, and a big dollop of peat. Brown sugar and baking spices reminiscent of Christmas with a peat fire burning in the background.

About MacTalla's 2024 Limited Edition

This heavily seated Islay single malt from Mac-Talla was aged full term in oloroso sherry butts from the south-west of Spain. 75% were first fill, and 25% were refill casks. MacTalla’s limited edition for 2024 is big and bold with robust notes of peat smoke, baking spice, and almonds.
