Primarily self-taught, artist Miquel Dominguez paints from childhood memories, as well as present experiences. While his techniques are complex, there is a gentleness to his work that reflects his essence, and results in scenes that are powerful, unique and beautiful. Here we see a graceful woman dressed in stylish evening wear, standing in repose by the beautifully carved banister of a grand staircase. Perhaps she is preparing for her turn to be announced at the elegant gala that awaits downstairs. Woven by our artisans, we offer a wall tapestry interpretation that captures the rich colors, and exquisite loveliness of the original painting.
Each fine art tapestry is handcrafted by skilled Artisan Weavers in USA textile mills using between nine and eighteen miles of thread. The tapestries have a 3" Rod Pocket sewn into the top to allow for a tapestry rod for hanging.
