Nose: Leather, caramelised brown sugar, bonfire toffee, cinnamon buns, vanilla fudge, banoffee pie, orchard fruit, boiled sweets, raisins and nutmeg.

Palate: Milk chocolate, mace, sandalwood, peppercorn, cinnamon, prune, citrus zest, overripe bananas, orange marmalade, bitter black tea, cigar box, pistachio, raw honey, desiccated coconut.

Finish: Crème brûlée, baked apple, fresh cherries, butter.

About this Wire Work's Whisky

#8 Virgin Oak Finish is a vatting of lightly peated single malt whisky initially matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and then finished for several months at a lower ABV in virgin American oak barrels (with a range of toast and char levels).
