Nose: Walnuts, marmalade, quince jelly, almonds, toasted dark bread, chocolate.

Palate: Tangerines, walnut honey, pears, espresso with milk, candied cherries.

Finish: Sweet, café au lait, malt.

About This Chapter 7 Whisky

This is Chapter 7's first Glenrothes cask. Glenrothes is a distillery which is receiving mixed vibes from connoisseurs for its original releases. When you have mixed vibes like that, just go to an independent release and judge for yourself. This one is mature and meaty and extremely enjoyable.
