Glen Elgin 12 Year Old Tasting Notes

Nose: Muscovado brown sugar meets vibrant blood orange with a subtle hint of oak from the refill hogshead. A delicate mix of dried fruits - the influence of a good PX quarter cask.

Palate: That Muscovado sweetness together with rich dried fruits. Red berries bring further fruit character. Even a surprising touch of cooked vegetables. And a hint of five spice. More molasses.

Finish: Lingering sweetness fades into a gentle warmth. Valencia orange. A slight savoury note in the background.
